HOMEWORK

We have homework for KS2 to embed learning in the following areas:

• Reading
• Spellings
• Tables

Weekly spellings are given out weekly on a Monday, alongside a weekly test. We will also share the spellings via seesaw. The children can practice the spellings via the ‘Spelling shed’ app for which your child has an individual login.

We also encourage the use of the ‘TT Rockstars’ app which allows your child to learn times tables in a fun way, again your child has an individual login for this.

If you are experiencing any problems using any of these apps do not hesitate to contact us and we will help you out. For those children without access to a tablet, phone or computer we provide extra opportunities during the normal school day.

PE KITS

We have weekly PE sessions. Please come to school in your PE kit. Our PE days is Wednesday.

SCIENCE

Mrs Wildeman will be taking year 5 to teach them Science.

REWARDS

In class, we use Dojo points as our reward system. The children with the most Dojos get to choose out of the treasure chest. 

Children will be regularly given points in class to reinforce good behaviour.

We believe in working in partnership with parents is the best way for your child to feel safe and happy at school. No issue is too small so do not hesitate to contact us. However please remember that the end of the school day is very busy so if you need to talk to staff for a length of time please make an appointment.
