We regularly share all our information and celebrations on our students page on Seesaw so it is important that all parents are signed up.

PE DAY IS FRIDAY. PLEASE ENSURE CHILDREN COME TO SCHOOL DRESSED IN PE KIT. PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL EARRINGS HAVE BEEN REMOVED.

HOMEWORK

We do not send out lots of homework sheets to complete as this can be frustrating for some families and it eats into valuable family time. Instead we ask that you encourage and listen to your child read and we provide access to apps that help with spellings and times tables in a fun way.

Please make sure your reading books are returned every Monday when they will be changed.

Weekly spellings to learn are given out on Friday and the test is given on the following Friday. We will also share the spellings via Seesaw. The children can practice the spellings via the ‘Spelling shed’  app for which your child has an individual login.

We also encourage the use of the ‘TT Rockstars’ app which allows your child to learn times tables in a fun way, again your child has an individual login for this.

If you are experiencing any problems using any of these apps do not hesitate to contact us and we will help you out. For those children without access to a tablet, phone or computer we provide extra opportunities during the normal school day.

We believe in working in partnership with parents is the best way for your child to feel safe and happy at school. No issue is too small so do not hesitate to contact us. However please remember that the end of the school day is very busy so if you need to talk to staff for a length of time please make an appointment.
